One of the most common questions I get from Heating, Cooling & AC repair and air conditioning contractors is: “How do I get my HVAC repair company to show up on that Map?” Below is an overview of our Google Places strategy that has helped get our AC repair clients' websites to the first page on the Google Map for their services in their local area.
Getting listed on the the first page of the Google Map for “Your City + Air Conditioning” or “Your City + AC Repair” comes down to four primary factors:
- 1. Having a claimed and verified Google Places listing.
- 2. Having an optimized Google+ Local (formerly Places) listing for the area in which you operate and for the services you offer.
- 3. Having a consistent N.A.P. profile (name, address, phone number) across the web so that Google feels confident that you are a legitimate organization located in the place you have listed and serving the market you claim to serve.
- 4/ Having reviews from your real customers in your real service area.
